In my devotions I have been reading the book of Romans. As I was reading it my mind first of al thought about Martin Luther, the monk, who read the book of Romans and came to know Christ as his Savoir then went to nail the 95-thesis on the door in Germany. The book of Romans is full and has been a blessing to read this week.
Here are some of my thoughts that I have gleaned:
Romans 1:20- Since God sees the invisible things, God sees everything I do--he knows my thoughts and He knows my true character
Romans 5:1-4 ~God will see me through each trial and hard time. God is aware what I am going through.
Romans 5:12,19- My sin affects others, just as Adam's sin affected the entire world--my sin affects those around me
Romans 6:13- Yield yourself to God, everything that is mine and myself is His to use
Romans 8:28-29- Everything works together the way God wants it to.
Romans 8:35-39- NOTHING will separate me from God's love--God will always love me no matter what!!!
Romans 9:21- God is the potter and I need to bring Him honor is all that I do.
Romans 10:1- Should be my prayer for the unsaved
Romans 10:15- I need to tell others about Christ
Romans 12:1-2 I need to be godly and holy, I do not need to be a part of the world
Romans 13- My attitude for government--no matter who is in office
