The first thing I thought of when I read "blue" was the amazing sky that God gives us each day. A reminder that although the sky may change from minute to minute God never changes. A reminder that God is great and the great creator. The reminder of a God who is watching over us wherever we are. The heavens truly declare the glory of God (Ps 19). I also thought of a song my mom taught me when I was a kid called "Blue skies and rainbows." Click on the video below to hear it.

Five Minute Friday:Blue
Hello! First of all, welcome to my blog. I enjoy writing, but really do not write as much as I would like...I've had an extreme case of writers block for a long time. This week's prompt word is BLUE. And yes, I am writing this with blue letters. :D

Hi Rebecca I have also had a little bit of a writers block. Check out mine. I went completely blank for a few minutes when the timer went off. HAHA! I also think of the sky but for some reason I couldn't think of what to say about the sky. I am usually not someone with a lack of words. :) but I guess we all have those days. Keep writing my friend. Visiting you from #fmfparty
ReplyDeleteHow cool--what a neat song!!!! Have never heard it before! What great truths to grow up singing!
ReplyDeleteHello Rebecca. I hear ya!! In fact, I wasn't planning on even linking up - just due to the "very busy" of the weekend... but, when I came back to just check it out and see what the prompt was for this week... I had already pretty much nailed the "word"... but, completely and truly I did not follow the rules. I linked up anyway.;)
ReplyDeleteGreat thoughts - here!!
Amen and amen!! He never changes and the skies always will.
Nice meeting you!! Visiting here from the FMF link up - as your "neighbor" there.
